Adolescence Programs:

Education
G.E.D. and other educational assistance are provided. Qualified members offer their services free to assist individuals advance their educational status. Tutorial programs for math, reading, computer classes and preparation for G.E.D are offered.

Health Fair
The Women's Missionary Council of the Church implemented an Annual Health Fair in 1983. Since then, the Health professionals of Calvary have expanded this program in collaboration with Physicians and Testing Centers of Kings County Hospital Center, Brooklyn-Caledonia Hospital, Cumberland Hospital and Downstate Medical Center. The program provides such essential services as blood pressure screening, diabetes screening, Eye examination, TB screening and Health Education on AIDS, Breast self examination, Prenatal Care, Nutrition, Drug Dependency, Obstetric and Gynecological issues. In addition the Church committee of Health professionals conduct on going Blood Pressure screening on a weekly basis throughout the year. These activities are all held at our 151 Woodruff Ave. location.
